This biography was launched  in December 2006 to public acclaim at Parliament House in Sydney, New South Wales. Due to its popularity, it went to a second reprint in 2007. The last surviving pioneer nurse, Marjorie Wilkinson Somerville, took great pride in personally signing all 2,200 copies printed.
